Topology

In mathematics, a space is a set, sometimes known as a universe, endowed with a structure defining the relationships among the elements of the set. The cited article explains that a subspace is a subset of the parent space which retains the same mathematical structure, that modern mathematics uses many types of spaces, such as Euclidean spaces, linear spaces, topological spaces, Hilbert spaces and probability spaces, but does not define the notion of space itself, and that a space consists of selected mathematical objects treated as points and selected relationships between these points. Objects recorded in the atlas as spaces are grouped under this concept.

Entity-backed identity for the object-kind enum value this mathematical object already carries, resolved to a mathematics concept by an explicit value-to-entity map (phase 3 bucket conversion, docs\design_entity_backed_browse_buckets_20260928.md). The object-kind fact itself stays on the object unchanged.
