Incomplete Gamma Function

In mathematics, the upper and lower incomplete gamma functions are special functions that arise as solutions to various mathematical problems, including certain integrals, and are defined in the same way as the ordinary gamma function but with different, or incomplete, limits of integration. The ordinary gamma function is defined as an integral from zero to infinity; the lower incomplete gamma function is instead defined as an integral from zero up to a variable upper limit, while the upper incomplete gamma function is defined as an integral from a variable lower limit up to infinity.
