Multivalued function

In mathematics, a multivalued function, also called a multiple-valued function, many-valued function, or multifunction, is a function that assigns two or more values in its range to at least one point of its domain. It is a set-valued function with additional properties that depend on context, and some authors do not distinguish between set-valued functions and multifunctions at all.
