An apeirogon, or infinite polygon, is a polygon with an infinite number of sides, taking its name from the Ancient Greek apeiron, meaning infinite or boundless, and gonia, meaning angle. It is the rank two case of an infinite polytope, and in some usages the term is reserved specifically for the regular apeirogon, whose symmetries form an infinite dihedral group.
