Perplexity

Probability and Statistics

In information theory, perplexity is a measurement of how well a probability distribution or probability model predicts a sample, and it is used to compare the predictive quality of different probability models. A lower perplexity score indicates that a model anticipates the observed data more accurately, so perplexity functions as a measure of the quality of a model's probabilistic predictions. Entity-backed identity for the object-kind enum value this mathematical object already carries, resolved to a mathematics concept by an explicit value-to-entity map (phase 3 bucket conversion, docs\design_entity_backed_browse_buckets_20260928.md). The object-kind fact itself stays on the object unchanged.
