The interquartile range (IQR), also called the midspread, middle 50%, fourth spread or H-spread, is a measure of statistical dispersion equal to the difference between the 75th and 25th percentiles of a data set, that is Q3 minus Q1. To compute it, a data set is divided into quartiles, four rank-ordered parts obtained by linear interpolation, and the IQR captures the spread of the central half of the data. Is Kind Of Object
Entity-backed identity for the object-kind enum value this mathematical object already carries, resolved to a mathematics concept by an explicit value-to-entity map (phase 3 bucket conversion, docs\design_entity_backed_browse_buckets_20260928.md). The object-kind fact itself stays on the object unchanged.
