In mathematics, the solution set of a system of equations or of an inequality is the set of every value that satisfies all of the system's equations and inequalities at once; more generally, the solution set, or truth set, of a statement or predicate is the set of every value that satisfies it. When no value satisfies the system or statement, its solution set is the empty set.
