In four-dimensional geometry, the spherinder, also called the spherical cylinder or spherical prism, is a geometric object defined as the Cartesian product of a solid 3-ball of one radius and a line segment of another length. It is analogous to an ordinary cylinder in three-dimensional space, which is itself the Cartesian product of a disk with a line segment, and like the duocylinder it is classified as both a rotatope and a toratope. A spherinder can be visualized in three-dimensional space through stereographic projection as two concentric spheres, in the same way a tesseract projects as two concentric cubes and an ordinary circular cylinder projects into two dimensions as two concentric circles. Is Kind Of Object
Entity-backed identity for the object-kind enum value this mathematical object already carries, resolved to a mathematics concept by an explicit value-to-entity map (phase 3 bucket conversion, docs\design_entity_backed_browse_buckets_20260928.md). The object-kind fact itself stays on the object unchanged.
